About

I’m Dr. Pranay Sanklecha. I've led The Economist’s programs on Critical Thinking and Business & AI, advised organizations worldwide, and spoken at leading universities including Oxford and Princeton.

Leaders today face complexity, disruption, and the rapid rise of AI. Frameworks and quick fixes aren’t enough.

What makes the difference is mastering the fundamentals of better thinking — the skills that drive sharper decisions, stronger leadership, and the ability to thrive in uncertainty.

My approach is similar to learning a sport or a musical instrument. I first break thinking down into core skills that can be learned and practiced, and my programs first guide leaders towards mastery of those core skills. Building on this foundation, leaders then are given the opportunity to put those core skills together and apply them in real-world scenarios.

An indispensable part of the programs is creating the right environment for transformation. I create spaces for reflection and meta-cognition, where leaders can learn from experience and from each other. These spaces are designed to guide leaders into taking ownership of their own learning journey.

These programs don’t just deliver information about thinking better. They aim rather to transform leaders into consistently better thinkers.

I help leaders build the habits and abilities that turn information into personalized knowledge and academic insight into practical payoff.

I bring a unique background to this mission:
