About

I’m a former philosophy professor who’s lectured at Oxford and Princeton, delivered executive programmes with The Economist on Critical Thinking and Business & AI, and helped write two USA Today & LA Times bestselling books on business and AI.

I’m Dr. Pranay Sanklecha. I help leaders and organisations think better about what truly matters, so they can make clearer decisions and lead with judgment in the midst of complexity, uncertainty, and disruption from all angles

My background combines academic expertise with real-world experience across multiple domains. I’m a former philosophy professor and have lectured at Oxford and Princeton. I’ve delivered executive development programmes to global audiences, including for The Economist magazine on Critical Thinking and Business & AI. I’m also a Partner at Shadoka, where we enable innovation and transformation. Alongside this work, I’ve contributed to the writing and research of bestselling books on implementing AI in business and in government. This broad experience keeps my thinking grounded in both ideas and impact.

My approach is philosophically informed, but never abstract for its own sake. For me, philosophy is the art of thinking well about the things that matter. That means sharpening questions, clarifying concepts, testing assumptions, and navigating values and trade-offs with intellectual honesty. I also draw on cognitive science, psychology, economics, spirituality, and the arts to build programmes that are intellectually rigorous and deeply human.

Along the way, I’ve also been a child prodigy, a first-class cricketer, a school-teacher, an international commodities trader, and the chef-owner of a small restaurant in Austria. Those chapters shape how I work today: grounded, practical, and deeply attentive to what leadership looks like in the real world.
